Hello, I'm doing some upgrade work for a co-worker who has a T42 that currently has a miniPCI Intel WM3B2200BG WLAN card. I need to replace this card with one that supports WPA2 security. I'm wondering what suggestions there are on what to upgrade to?

I'll also be doing a RAM upgrade to 2GB of PNY PC2700. I have installed aftermarket wireless cards in Thinkpads before so I know that some bios updating needs to be done, or at least this was the case on an R40 that I worked on. I have used this card before in an HP (I believe?) and it worked great.

    Thanks for the help :).

How about the Intel 2915, which I believe supports WPA2 and was sold with the T42. I'd also make sure you get a ThinkPad branded card so you don't run afoul of the whitelist.
