I ordered a T22 off ebay. When I received the notebook, the battery wouldnt hold a charge. I asked the guy if I could return the battery and then get a replacement, but he insisted I send the entire unit. So, I did as asked, paked it up proeprly. shipped it UPS with insurnace. IT was an overnight delivery and when he received it he said that the screen was cracked and that I was trying to scam him. Anyways, since then I've had UPS do a claim check on it, and this guy tell them that it was damaged before I sent it and that it wasnt damaged in shipping! Man i'm going to go nuts. Anwyays, now I have to wait another few days for another company to look into it. The thing is I have photos and video of the laptop when I had it, yet this guy continues to say that " it could be a different computer."

Anywho, if this claim doesnt pass, Im requesting the computer back and I will be getting a replacment LCD dispaly for it. MY question is, what can I get to replace the display. Does it have to be a special IBM T22 screen? What are the proper specs, so I dont have to spend too much money? And what does the average cost of one go for?

Thanks for your time and help guys! Hopefully I don't drive down there and loose it on this guy! He has started to stop responding to my emails!

If you paid with a credit card, I would call the credit card company and see what they can do for you.
