Ok long story short. I received my T400 a few days ago. Amazing machine. Loved the display. Its a samsung but its great. Anyway a couple of days ago I noticed a dark grey streak across the right hand side of the display. Those pixels aren't completely dead but they're noticeably darker than the surrounding pixels. So, if the screen is white, they look greyish.

I was very irritated when I noticed this. Actually I thought it was dirt so I tried cleaning and all but it didn't help. So I rebooted the machine and still the problem persisted. So I finally concluded that the display was at fault.

Now I'm about to send the machine back to Lenovo and hoping to have it replaced with a LG panel. All of these issues lead me to believe that probably Samsung panels have issues more than LG panels. Hopefully they'll comply with my request :)

Any tips to deal with Lenovo tech support?
