Either T410 or T510 I was wondering how much bigger it makes the laptop, and what kind of battery life are you guys getting out of them.

    Merci,

Here's several images of the slice battery that fellow forum member ZoinksS2k took.

I believe the slice battery is the equivalent of another 9-cell battery, so you can do the math!

Sweet it looks like it has another cavity can you put the 9 cell battery that sticks out plus the slice battery?

Yes, the slice battery works with any of the other battery options for the T-series. In fact, if you really wanted, you could get a 9-cell + slice battery + UltraBay battery for the ultimate off-the-grid work time

Uh, no. You can either use the slice battery or the ultrabay battery. There's no Thinkpad that will allow all three. I don't know of any laptop that allows 3 batteries simultaneously (USB UPS units DO NOT count!)

To get an accurate gauge of the battery and it's added thickness, stick something about an inch thick directly underneath where the primary batteries 2 rows of cylindrical grooves stick out. Then use your laptop.

The biggest issue I have is that it wobbles a bit on an uneven surface, especially if you sit slouched with the laptop in your lap, and your legs extended. Also for some reason, if you put your laptop to sleep and remove the slice battery, it treats it as if you removed both at the same time. I noticed that on my last airplane trip.
If you intend on using a case like a sleeve, you have to remove the slice to make it fit, in general.
