    Hi all,
I have a quick question...Has anyone had experience with installing Rescue and Recovery on their non-Lenovo machine and creating recovery media for their ThinkPads? In an ideal world, I would think that the R&R software basically burns disc images to proper media; therefore, it should not require a Lenovo computer to accomplish this task. Is my intuition accurate here or is there some stupid catch? Thanks for your responses.

Rescue and Recovery compiles the information needed to produce the recovery discs from the machine on which it is installed. Not only will it not work on a non-Lenovo computer, it won't work on a different model Lenovo computer.
