    Rescue and Recovery Problems on Lenovo T61 - HELP!

    I put a new hard drive in my T61, and I wanted to install the factory configuration from the restore discs. Unfortunately, I cannot install the factory settings.

    I follow the onscreen instructions, inserting the discs as needed, but after it copies the data from the 6th and final disc, it reboots into the Rescue and Recovery Environment, has a window with a progress bar that doesn't move, and says "Product Recovery Failed". What is going on? Thank you for your answers in advance.

    Call Lenovo and explain the situation. They'll probably send you a set of discs.

    if the laptop is in the warranty lenovo free shipping the rescue and recovery dvd. Call lenovo.
