This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    For those of you who didn't for some reason make a rescue and recovery disk, and when you decided to make one the software wouldn't work-

    I just updated to the latest R&R 4.1 and once completed, it instructs you to make a "new" R&R disk discarding the original. Beats paying Lenovo to send you one.

    So did your recovery set only turn out to be two DVDs like mine did? A start up and then Disk 1 of 1? I am just surprised it was so small, I thought it would be more.

    Yes, It was 2 DVD's. I too was surprised. Would assume it would be the same when I remake them.
