    Hi there,

I just bought a new Hard Drive for my T61p. I would like to import the ServiceV002 partition (with Lenovo Rescue and Recovery on it) on the new hard drive. I used EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition to copy and paste the partition on my new drive, but it doesn't boot when I press the ThinkVantage button at startup...

Does anyone has an idea ??

    Thank You !

There are several disk imaging tools that will do what you want which I'm assuming is a complete backup of the current drive, and a restore to the new larger drive.

The built-in Windows 7 backup tools will work for that. I think it's in Pro. See Control Panel\System and Security\Backup and Restore. On the left nav bar is a link to "Create a system image".

I use Acronis True Image Home 2010. I haven't tried 2011 yet because I don't feel the need to upgrade.
