    Hi,

What is the file extention of ur backup when using 'Back up your Hard Drive'?

I saved locally, but would like to move the file (10+gig) to an external drive.

I did not realize there was an advance menu that would let me pick a distination.

I am trying to do search but not sure what file(s) I am looking for.

    Thx

I don't think you can because R&R is based on the Shadowcopy service. I think you may have to shut the service down to copy the files and restart it.

I don't think R&R is a good implimentation and it was the first thing I deleted from my system. If you have Vista, I'd recommend complete PC backup to DVDs.

    Oh I found a solution.

    FYI

In R&R you can choose to save in 2nd HD/External HD. Which then in turn gives you an option to delete the BACKUP set that is saved LOCALLY.

I just did that and my HD free'd the 10+ gig.

I have now access to a nice large external hard drive. I use XP. Do you have any recommendation for backup software for me to use with my T61?

    Thanks.
