So I read that the maxbright panel is being manufacturered by Chi Mei's ID Tech and manufactured in Japan. Sounds great....300nits and all. But I couldn't find the response time listed. Checking IDTech's site I couldn't find the model 13N7018 listed there, so I checked out the specs for some of their other TN panels and all they said was 50ms max which is slow enough that most any user would see the ghosting.

Anybody use this panel or have some specs for it?

I've been playing NFS: Carbon and watching plenty of movies on my Z60m with MaxBright screen. The response time is perfectly fine. And I came from a CRT toting Desktop with instant response time.
