    Hey guys, by treading through the boards....several people mention that you can't return on an EPP purchase and that the sale is final. Yet some say they do...can anyone confirm any of this? Thank you so much. I ended up with a defective wireless card and security chip. I'm sort of worried now. Thank you.

    hat makes you think they wont just replace the defective card and chip, rather then do the whole return process?

    this sounds very weird to me.

    i have exchanged 2 US EPP purchased Thinkpads in the past 7 months. The reasons for the first exchange was a cosmetic issue (the thinkpad logo on the titanium lid was loose) and the second was an exchange from an x60s to an x61s (because the salesperson had given me some misinformation regarding the x61s that initially made me choose the x60s).

    i really doubt that the EPP sale is final.
