    After going back and forth from different models and brands, I decided to get the Lenovo T61.

    I ordered it on May 09, it was shipped on May 16, and arrived on May 20.

    First here are the some answer to my favorite (many times) asked questions:

    The build is awesome
    Not heavy at all
    It doesnt make a sound
    It doesnt get hot

    After browsing thru its many characteristics I have to say that the THINKVANTAGE feature is great, very usefull. Its a fast machine, with a 2.4 GHz and 2Gb RAM what can you expect.

    The software it had installed was less than I expected,
    Picasa
    NAV 2008 (which Ive already uninstalled)
    PC Doctor 5
    Diskeeper

    The monitor is bright, it doesnt seem to be grainy, I dont know if its a Samsung or LG. The only thing I regret was to get the 1280x800 resolution instead of the 1680x1050.

    The battery I got was a 6 cell, however it doesnt potrude (is that spelled right?) as I tought, it last about 2.5 to 3 hours under normal office usage (no DVD playing yet).

    Are you saying that you wish that you had the 1680x1050? Is the the '+' model without the camera? 11 days from order to receipt, that is not bad.
