Hey guys bought a brand new Lenovo Ideapad 110-i5ibr, took it out of the box and turned it on for the first time on Friday only to the discover that the right trackpad button is not working. No matter how hard I press the key no right click options come up, I updated the elan trackpad drivers and still nada and also went into the mouse settings and made some changes but still nothing.

Can you guys help me to find out what may be causing this and how to solve it. Additionally, the laptop seems to be having issues installing software. I tried to install google chrome and got an error twice before it installed and when I attempted to install Microsoft Office 2007 I got this error message "Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {837BF-1EB-D770-94EB-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}. HRESULT: 0x800736B3. Setup failed. Rolling back changes"

It is not easy for me just to return the laptop, I bought it at Best Buy but now I am in another country.

I would be most grateful for your assistance.

    Thank you.

I don't know how much help you'll actually get, but assuming the laptop is under Lenovo warranty you might try contacting them--though I have heard horror stories about their customer service, and I've had issues even before I buy. Lenovo is worldwide, so you may want to search for their customer service in your current country. Good luck! I'm beginning to fear that I will have to cancel my order, because I'm seeing so many horror stories from Lenovo owners.
