Can anyone tell me what the green light does on the right side of the T61, in between the optical drive and 2 usb ports? Is the light supposed to be constantly on, whether on battery or AC?

So having an optical drive in the ultrabay automatically turns on the light? So i take it everyone who has an optical drive has the light on?
