    The new Atom is coming early next year. You are talking about at least 7 months of wait and then add few more months for companies to make products based on new cpu.

    If you can wait that long, sure why not.

    The dual core N550 will be out this year, Asus is preparing a 10.1" netbook with Ion and Optimus. As to whether Lenovo will make an S10-3 with it is unknown.

    if you can get the S10-3 with discounts then i guess why not. Otherwise look for a second hand Thinkpad X60s or X200 or something like it.
