Can someone confirm that uninstalling Lenovo's Rescue and Recovery software through windows will not eliminate the ability to run the pre-boot version of RnR? I assume RnR is also embedded in one of the Lenovo service partitions and is unaffected by uninstalling the windows version, but just want to double check.

Also wondering if anyone knows a way to stop Acronis (v.12) running its various monitoring processes automatically on startup. Is my only option to manually remove them from the Windows startup list? I can see no options at all in the Acronis menus and I really don't need them since I only use Acronis to take a partition image every month or so (I do no data backups or anything scheduled).

I know the Acronis Sceduler has to run, but the two others don't even appear in the list of windows services so I can't even set them to manual.
