I've always used the free Roxio easy CD creator software that came with my dell computer to burn backup CDs for my stuff.

I see Roxio charges $100 for their latest stupid offering. My current Easy CD creator doesn't work to burn DVDs. i was hoping a T60 will come with the free Roxio dvd burning software. anybody know? a dell latitud does come with it.

You can look for a cheap OEM copy on eBay.

Although this is not a freeware forum, I would like to recommend CDBurnerXP Pro. It's free and comparable to Roxio (better IMO). Plus, there is BurnAtOnce, also free. Check out download sites for more free alternatives.
