AHHHHHHHHHH, lenovo just extended my t43 to 5 weeks. It was supposed to come in today. Previously, i canceled the t60 because it would take over a month to get. These people really piss me off....................................................................................

I guess i'l go with a Sony vaio instead...

Shoot for something quality, at least; order an Asus or a Fujitsu.

Shame about the wait time, though. Honestly, that seems a bit excessive for a T43.

not ordering through Lenovo.com seems to be the way to go, order an Express model from another online retailer or checkout a reseller on eBay.

I concur. Newegg.com is excellent. Their prices on the Thinkpads are nothing special though. I bought an express T43from Buy.com several months back.

Those bastards took 3 days to ship my T43 instead of the 2 day Fed Ex I paid $20 bucks for. I saved $100 though.

The only problem I would have with anyone else than the place that makes em is the return policy (not including apple, because theirs is a joke). Hp.com, Dell.com, IBM.com all offer free return grace periods of around 30 days, and most will cover return shipping as well.

The delays with the Thinkpads are only related to their latest lineup as i recieved my R51 just a week after ordering on Lenovo website.

I ordered a T43 on Feb 02. I called Lenovo today and was told the notebook would be shipped near the end of February! A whole month waiting time for a 2005 model (express selection)!
