I caught a rumor of a tablet version of the T60 from a lenovo marketing guy. Anyone else hear anything? I was all set to order a T60p until I heard that, but I would much rather have the tablet version.

Well, the success of the Gateway CX200 indicates there is a demand for a 14 inch tablet/convertable, even if it weighs an arm bending six to seven pounds.

But as to whether Lenovo has plans . . .

I don't know if this helps but I saw a TV ad for a convertible thinkpad on tv today and it looked like a modded t60 or x series.

That would be an X41T tablet.

Personally, I'm rather excited by the idea of a 14" Thinkpad tablet. I'd really love to have a tablet PC, but the sacrifices one has to make with the X-series would put me off if I was looking for one right now.
