I'vee recently read about these SSDs. They seem to offer superior storage and speed to the intel 310s. Some links:
RunCore outs T50 6Gb/s mSATA SSD, SandForce speeds included -- Engadget
RunCore Elite 50mm mSATA SSD - RunCore SSD,PATA SSD,SATA SSD,PCIE SSD,ZIF SSD
Has anyone had experience installing these into their thinkpads, e.g. T420s?
In particular, I would like to know about -
1. compatibility
2. reliability
3. performance: can thinkpads fully utilize the 550 MB/s read and 470 MB/s write speeds?
Thanks

yeah the upshot is it'll run at sata II speeds, I was going to get one for my t420 until the guy posted his findings on that thread.
may as well pick of the better SATA II ones, I'm going to wait and see what the new intel ones are like I think. -
