    Do think that the T61 quality dropped because Lenovo had to rush a bunch of orders out? Like fit and finish.

    hmm... i hope so, coz i'm getting one in a few month from now

    by the way, in my country, T61 cost $2000 more, dont know about the spec coz it's just been released here recently.

    Well, my first T61 was missing the Bluetooth receiver, so I had to send that back. I would call that a quality control issue. A replacement T61 was made and is shipping now, so hopefully that isn't suffering from any issues.

    I've seen the T61 recently and the building quality when I used it is not as good as say the T42 which IMO was the last "well built" Thinkpad. The T42 has no flex, no heat issues, and was still made in Japan by IBM.
