    S12 flush battery?

    I've just ordered an S12 ION. AFAIK it has the 6-cell battery that sticks out the back.

    I've seen pictures of S12 systems (probably the earlier intel or via versions) where the battery is flush - maybe a 3-cell version? I'm interested in trading off battery life for size/shape/weight.


    Does such a battery actually exist?

    The S12 uses the same batteries as the S10 and S10e, I believe. Honestly, I don't think the 6-cell sticks out so much that it's much of an issue. Getting only half the battery life seems like an excessive sacrifice for a small size/weight difference.

    thanks, that's what i was looking for! looks like the lenovo site has the wrong [6-cell] picture for the black 3-cell.
