I found the ThinkPad S540 (my ideal laptop :D) on Lenovo UK. It has not come out yet but here is my question: Do you think this will be available in the US sometime?

BTW, the S series only has S431 available, with 3rd gen sandy bridge processor models. They are also on a big sale. Does this mean they'll update the series eventually? What are your thoughts, because I really want to wait before buying in case you think there is a chance.

There's a possibility, but until Lenovo itself says anything on the matter, nothing's certain.

By the way, Sandy Bridge was 2nd generation. 3rd generation was Ivy Bridge ;)
