Is my new T60 compatible with SATA 3.0Gb/s and the coming SATA 6.0Gb/s hard drives?

its 3.0 compatible, but why would it matter for anything greater? It already cant saturate the 1.5gbs bus of older drives?

First, I say, find a drive that can read/write at 6.0gb/s.....

Like Dietcokefiend said, is there even one that can use all from the 1.5gb spec? At least Notebook drives.

Thanks, I just saw a SATAII drive for sale somewhere, looked it up on wikipedia and they mentioned the 6.0gb/s drive coming soon. I didn't know what this t60 supported with regard to SATA drives. Great to have a place to go to with questions.
