I have a T61 14inch Wide Screen. I use my laptop like desktop and connect it to a monitor so I can use two screen. Since this is my first Thinkpad I am worried about the Laptop Screen burning out. Does anyone know how it Lenovo screens last before they Burn Out and start to dim? My Dell began to dim within 2 to 3 years.

How much does it cost to replace a Laptop Screen if it starts to dim or burn out?

If that happens you can just do it yourself if you feel comfortable. I would lookup the part number for your screen in google and ebay and see how much they sell for.
