I have mentioned this in another post, but I wanted to call it to its own attention.

There is a white 'blank' (I believe) in a slot in my T400 batt compartment. There is a 'pull tab' attached, but it does not come out easily.

I have found no other information...it is a new laptop, but I am wondering if anyone knows am I right? Is it an SD type slot? Or what is it? Why is it there?

    Thanks

If anything it might be for a SIMM card. I think the T400 has WWAN upgradeable, and that might be where you put the SIMM. I have a similar port on my x200, and it is definitely not for SD.
