My SD card slot used to work fine, now when I insert a SD card nothing shows up?? I have tried restarting, I know the SD card is fine. Is there anything I can do to get it working

Did you try re-installing the drivers? They can go bad. Perhaps it's time to call support.

Reinstall drivers or run Lenovo Update and see if it finds anything. Have you tried another known working SD card?

I have had some problems with the SD slot on my X220 when using Windows 7. Seems to always work in Linux though. Try booting up a Linux live CD/DVD, accessing the SD card, then reboot into Windows 7.

It seems once I get the card slot working in Linux, it then works in Windows 7. I think using the Ultrabase III might be causing a problem with the SD card slot, but I haven't verified that.
