    SECOND Laptop Delay!

    So I ordered my T61 on May 13th with an original ship date of May 31st. On May 31st the ship date got changed to June 19th. Well, I woke up this morning and my ship date has been changed AGAIN to June 25th this time. Anyone know if this new date is actually going to hold up or should I cancel and just go with the Del D630?

    I think my X61s would delay also. I ordered it on Jun 5th, no any info on it now!!

    The reason your notebook was delayed to begin with was because they didn't have these parts in orders made between May 9th- May 24th

    42X0929 SBB MECH MISC PARTS
    42V9633 SBB STAND LCD C/B:14.1"W/O CAM

    They've been updating those orders and rebooking them. I think the date changed because they've rebooked your order.

    Thats what happened to me over the weekend. I now have a date in mid july. So consider yourself lucky. My guess is that I will ship out before July though.

    Another thing is I cannot get to the order page anymore. That is a very effective way to keep me from getting mad when my date moves. I won't ever know!

    Does your order status tell you if there are parts are missing?

    If you bought the computer under a user account you can login to your account and get to the order status page through there. I'm having problems when I click on the order status link on the main page.

    I called Lenovo FUMING and the rep told me if I reply to the free gift email asking for monetary compensation instead of one of the gifts that they will most likely grant it to me. He told me to ask for about 15% off of my order. I'll try that and see what happens.

    Same thing happened to me today.

    Order: 5/17
    1st ESD: 6/5
    2nd ESD: 6/22
    3rd ESD (today): 8/23

    I'm ****in mad.

    their reply rate of emails at [email protected] (or any other CS email addresses at lenovo) is abysmally low. don't count on any replies any time soon. I sent 1 email 3+ weeks ago, and a second one 5 days ago, none have been replied, and it's the same story across the board for most people.
