This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The SL-series is already on the SLx10 generation, so I wouldn't expect another refresh anytime soon. If you are interested in the SL-series Thinkpads, you may also want to take a look at the new Thinkpad Edge line.

    Well the Arrandale based Celeron is supposed to be out in Q2, so I'm just guessing that's what Lenovo would use in their budget Thinkpad line. I am tempted by the edge, but I'd rather wait for Geneva Refresh of the AMD CULV platform.

    EDIT: Just noticed the new L series lose HDMI in favour of DisplayPort. Why...
