    Hi,

I have recently bought a SL300 and I'm very satisfied with it except for some minor issues. For example I do not fully understand the stanby mode. With my old laptop (HP Pavilion) when I closed a lid the PC went to a standby mode - that means it was completely silent and looked like turned off, then I pushed random buttom and immediately started again. With my SL300 it a bit different - when I close the lid it goes to the stanby mode but fan is still ON and I can hear quite loud beep every x second. Is that correct standby mode of this SL300 laptop or is it question of proper setting?

Next think regarding the stanby regime is that when I use a power button to put the laptop on stanby regime it works (with the fan still on) but I'm not able to wake up it again. Whatever button I push I'm not able to make it works again. The only think I can do is to hold the power button a bit longer and thus turn the PC off and the start it again. I'm pretty sure it should not be like that.

Anyone have experienced similar think? Do you know how to solve it?
