Is there anyway I can do this? I just received the SSD today and would like to port everything over onto it before I remove the OS drive.

I have the SSD hooked up via USB and though I could clone it across using Arconis 2009 but it doesn't recognize the USB drive!!!! We dont have a desktop so hooking both drives up at the same time via SATA is not an option.

My system has no restore disks it is on a partition, any suggestions?

    thanks!

Have you formatted the SSD? If not, do a "quick" format. Then check it is readable. Then you should be able to place the image on the SSD. Hope this is of help.
