    Hi there,

I tried doing some guitar recordings with my SL400 (nothing serious, more just to see how something sounds). Whether I record line in directly or with a mic, all my recordings become out of tune (ie. it sounds about a half step lower than its supposed to be). I also tried recording with the integrated mic and playback with a different set of speakers just to test it out and the problem still exists.

    Help!

    Thanks.

(I also posted this up on the Lenovo SL forum)

okay, I have no idea why and how but
did you try changing the sampling rate?
for instance, some cards have native 48k rate, and have to do conversion to play back 44.1kHz files, even if you set the output to 44.1kHz (44.1 to 48 to 44.1)
so maybe something is off kilter there

I'd try one file at each setting
