Hi , I have got SL410 around 2 weeks back. As soon as I got it I did BIOS upgrade and then started facing battery draining problem overnight.
The from this site I saw suggestion to check BIOS and changed it to Wake on LAN to disable. This looks did not help me resolving issue.
Also Windows 7 has some chek box under power management for devices which says "Allow the computer to turn-off this device to save power" . This is checked.
"Allow this device to wake the computer" is un-checked.
Can someone verify if both these settings are correct. And if yes , it there anything else besides these two settings.

Yeah. I too believe so because battery seems to be alright. It charges exponentially and discharging is also showing proper back up of appr. 4 hrs.
May be something to do with motherboard. But lenovo tech. support is not in position to give correct reason and they want me to ship the machine for inspection and that is really big pain in Canada. It may take upto 2-3 weeks and rather I would return this and go for new one.

Can anyone suggest me whether SL series is good one Or should I switch to another company like Dell , Toshiba.

Note : I have already used Lenovo twice T series once which is excellant and also having Y series which is also awesome. But this time I saw their support had become so poor that I was really concerned.
