    Does anyone know if the 9-Cell battery for the Thinkpad SL500 is flush with the laptop or if it sticks out?

    Also does anyone know what the estimated battery life is between the 6 and 9 cell?

    I think 9 cells usually stick out, 6 cells stick out only for 14" new models and flush with 15.4" models

    Yup, chen is correct.

    I haven't read any battery readings from the SL series, so I'm not sure.
