I'd like to get either the Sl500 or sl510. Are the only differences the wide screen vs the standard screen? Or are their other difference?

Also do any of the SL410's come with matte screens?

I assume you've already read the reviews of both of these notebooks on this website ( SL500, SL510).

The major revisions are physical changes, including the 16:10 to 16:9 transition.

Oh cool I didn't see that. And I assume that all of them come with a SD card reader built in...

Yup, both have a built in SD card reader, as do the other 15" Thinkpads.

the quality is about the same between the SL500 and the SL510.... slightly better than the average consumer laptops, but it still has a long to go to match T and R series.
