    Magnesium case. In other words: premium build quality.
    Thinkvantage
    Full size keyboard
    4:3 size screen
    double latch mechanism to close the screen very tightly
    Professional graphic card (more stable)
    Docking port.

    No 4:3 screen anymore.
    But other than some media features like the HDMI, the SL series doesn't have any other advantages over the T or R or W series, which are all better built.

    also look at pictures you cant plug thumb drives or any big usb devices in because of the tapered sides
