This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I dont want to double post but TP owners may be interested and/or can assist with SMART tests. I've compared a 2 year old Hitachi which came with my TP with a 2 year old WD Passport sparingly used but the tests are alarming?
