this just popped up. do you think that if you use the SPP, whenever you call in and need something serviced, do you think you get better service from using the SPP vs not?

Yeah... I'm partially just trying to be funny
and partially very bitter
. I don't like to whine and complain, but this all started about 6 months ago for me when I decided I need a new laptop (my old laptop crapped out).
At that time I wasn't in a huge hurry, but I wanted something within about 2-3 months. I did a lot of research and heard about the new Santa Rosa platform that was coming out. The I read about the Thinkpad line and decided it was what I wanted. I waited about 3 months for May 9th to come. That was the big release day for the T61.
To my dismay they didn't offer the T61 with 15.4" and nVidia graphics. I was told by CSRs. "It'll be available in a few days". .."It will be available in a week" and so on. It took two months for the T61 with the options I want to become "available".
I ordered the day it was available and they got my billing mixed up with someone else's order. I was paying for some guys laptop and he was paying for mine. It was a mess to get straightened out. As a matter of fact, somehow this guys name appeared AGAIN on my order page just a few days ago.
Now here I am over a month after ordering just wanting the damn laptop I am trying to pay them for.
I wish they would have been straightforward to begin with. I probably would have just ordered a T60 or a Dell Latitude. I just hope to have a very nice laptop after all of this.
Thanks for letting me blow some steam
