So I bought a new SSD from corsair, at 1st I had a horrible time installing windows 7. It could not format the SSD. After a pain staking time I figured out how, I needed to change the SATA type from AHCI to IDE. Well I got Windows installed. But its running VERY sluggish. The system seems to hang, anything from IE to Device Manager, to Updates. It hangs for a few sec or up to a minute.
Do I have a defective SSD???
Also, splash screen takes abnormally long. I also get a check disk almost every time I restart it.
I'm trying to update the bios to see if MAAAAYBE it fixes the issue. Is there a way to check if a SSD is defective? I'm not getting any BSOD, just slow running.

So I went to Lenovo website, they have nothing available for download for this system. No drivers, bios, nothing. Lame I cant update the bios. My next thing will be to try and install the SSD on my G73 and see if I have the same problems.
Anyone have any suggestions??? -
Which Lenovo do you have, anyway?

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Perhaps you have a defective drive? Did you do a clean install? Perhaps your Windows installation is misaligned.
