    SSD Hard Drive to T61p

    Hi,

    I found one HDD like this : SSD 128GB MLC 2.5" SATA2

    I have one Lenovo t61p but don't know if this HDD can run good in my Laptop ?

    May I buy this HDD ? Or Where can find information ?

    what SSD is it? It makes a diffrence as the T61p has a limited SATA bus.
    If you looking at a 128GB G.Skill Titan it's not worth it, but if it's the regular G.Skill or OCZ it MAY be worth it, depends on your use.

    Well, I don't know much about it...Just want upgare my Laptop, and want buy SSD Hard Drive it is:

    SAMSUNG SSD 128GB MLC 2.5" SATA2
    MMDOE28G5MPP-OVAD1

    My Laptop is T61P, Intel Core 2Duo T9300 2.5 GHZ with 4MB Ram, Windows 64 bit

    i just upgraded to the OCZ vertex 60gb a couple of days ago and so far, I am very very happy with the upgrade.

    Ok will buy it but SAMSUNG is good mfg ? I will need one Hardware modification or just remove and Install the new ? Of course load Windows and my programs.

    yea it's pretty easy to install. but take out the old HD, then put the rubber rails onto the new hard drive, put it back in. that's it.

    Samsung is one of the best ssd's in terms of reliability/performance. It isn't the fastest but should still be plenty fast.

    Considering the T61p has capped speeds, I think the Samsung is your best choice. Lower power consumption, high reliability, very fast and overall an excellent SSD - you can't go wrong with it. Installation is same as a regular HDD.
