SSD and HDD for T410s

I finally pulled the trigger and bought a T410s off ebay. I'm planning to get a SSD for booting and a secondary storage HDD through the ultrabay caddy (I already have it). Can someone recommend me a large (>200gb) and fast SSD as well as a large (1tb or larger, if posible) HDD for me? Preferably I would not have to modify the drives during installation. Price is a secondary concern.

The T410s uses a 1.8" hard drive, which will severely limit your selection. Here's the choices on NewEgg. I'd suggest going with something smaller, like 60GB/80GB and using it as a boot drive, then putting your larger 1TB drive in the ultrabay. There's only two 1TB makers right now, Samsung and WD with the Samsung being a lot cheaper, but I don't know much about the drives.

 

Thanks for your info. It seems that the Crucial C300 256gb has the highes capacity and speed among 1.8 inch SSDs.

I will also pick up a 1TB Samsung but I think they are out of stock on many online sellers...
