SSD and XP Tablet 2005

I am in a situation. I recently purchased a used X41 Tablet with a 60GB Hard Drive. I have been reading about some SSD for this notebook and plan to change over to a SSD. As recommended by most, I decided to make Recovery Disc, but, apparrently, the previous owner MADE a copy, and you are restrict to making one copy only. I contacted him, but he does not have a clue where those disc are. I do have the recovery partition, but like I said, the recovery program will not let me make a recovery disc. So I have two questions on this subject.

1. I have looked for a copy of XP Tablet Edition 2005, but I can not find one. Anyone know where I can get a copy of XP Tablet Edition 2005?? or Recovery disc for a X41??

2. Any recommendation on SSD for the Tablet. I have looked at the Kingspec, and other SSD, and have considered Compact Flash with adapter.

Lenovo had a 60gb SSD that will pop right into the x41. FRU: 41W0736
Can be easily found on eBay for less than $200.

I believe it's a Samsung SLC part with a converter from ZIF to the funky IDE connector in the x41.

And best of all, it won't produce the error message associated with non-Lenovo drives on boot since it's an official part.

Edit: Don't bother with the CF card set-up. I'm currently using a 32gb Kingston 133x in mine, which came out to half the cost of the SSD option. While sequential read and write speeds are pretty good, the random write speeds are worse than the stock 4200 rpm HD. When it comes to daily usage, it's the random read/write that matters the most. You could tinker with applications like FlashFire, disable some NTFS settings, or just change the file system format to FAT32 to squeeze usable performance. But then you'll run into issues with system stability and file corruption. This topic has been thoroughly investigated on the ThinkPad Forums as well.
