    Hello,
    i'm used to my X300 SSD and not quiet happy with my W500's 160GB 7200RPM, what/where can i get 128GB SSD for my W500 and how much they cost these days?

    Using my Samsung 128GB SSD. Previously used the exact same drive that Lenovo use in the X300 with a 2.5" adapter, of course. Performance is nearly the same, with the increase in capacity of course :)

    how much did you pay for the samsung 128GB ?

    also how about Intel's 160GB X25-M ?

    I paid $520 for it. The intel 160GB X25-M is available next year, so you may have to wait, but it certainly will be faster than the samsung one

    Might want to post this in the "Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades" section. Guys like Andy and PhilFlow, KTRON etc know a ton about harddrives. You might get some great responses. Just a suggestion.
