Bought a OCZ Core V2 SSD drive few days ago and have now been struggling with it for hours. The problem is, it doesn't fit all the way into the T61's sata interface. The drive itself is just barely (1-2mm) thicker than normal 120Gb HDD, but what's the real problem, I think, is the plastic border that runs over the whole sata connection - and it's getting stuck somewhere inside my T61.

I've tried to install the new drive without rubber side dampeners. It seems the drive would center itself to the right position but it wont fit in the connector even with some brutal force. However I cannot confirm this as I don't like the idea of taking the whole laptop apart, and I cannot see the interface while installing the drive.

Anyone else has gotten the same problems / know what could help? I'd really like to have this drive installed!

Also would like to hear if anyone has installed the same drive on X200s thinkpad. That's going to be my next laptop, which should arrive in a month.

    Thanks.
