This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Black Friday deals are not super-awesome, but they are pretty decent. There's a discount on both 60 and 120GB OCZ Vertex 2, as well as on G.Skill Phoenix Pro.

    OCZ Vertex 2 60GB also has a rebate (but I heard it takes forever to get it from OCZ) which is $120 before, or $95 after rebate. There is also 500gb Momentus XT for $90.... which is just great. So... take your pick. :)

    Yes, OCZ take a bit. I've done two so far and they both took about four months to get, but if you do your homework, you should get it.
