    SWTOOLS and SWSHARE Folders

    i just got a t400. are these folders necessary at all. am i wrong that i can get virtually everyhting online. i already deleted pc doctor and roxio because i don't want them. the folders take up like 3.5 gigs. i already created the product recovery media, but i don't know they are included in it. what are your thoughts?

    Burn it onto a DVD. It's nice to have if you don't want to download all the drivers/apps, some of which can be quite large.

    they are supposed to be, but you never know :)

    most people back these up for clean installs

    They should, but if you want to do a clean install, that won't help you.
