I'm thinking about buying a W520 for school and I've been reading these forums and I've heard members say that the Lenovo sales reps give good discounts if you talk to them. Right now I can get the Student Discount (about 10%) but is it worth talking to a sales rep to get more off than just the student discount? And is it possible? If so, are there any tips to ask them for deals (It seems rude just asking them outright)? Thanks.

I was told the sales rep can NOT give a better offer than EPP + discount.

The sale rep said that himself.

Okay, so I'll just go with the student discount then.

Can I at least get an extended warranty if I call up Lenovo?

I currently have an EPP price and was hoping to haggle an extra discount - is there a way to add a coupon/discount to a EPP order
(or am I confused about what you mean by "EPP + discount"

    thanks!
