    All,

Well I have finally received my T60P, the first one I ordered was defective so it took almost 2 months :(

Anyway I thought I would post and let everyone know that I have now been able to see both the Samsung and LG screens and as far as I can tell there may be a little more light leakage on the samsung screen but not much and the screen qualities are similar. I disagree with the folks who have been berating the differences. If you get a samsung screen don't freak out... they look the same as the LG screens....

So both are equally free of sparkle? If so, then it looks like Samsung finally got their anti-glare coating process fixed.

    Good to hear. ^^

Probably the best way to describe it is it looks like a layer of dust on the LCD that can't be removed. Some people don't notice it, some do and don't care, others can't stand it (me :p ). It's most noticeable on whites and bright colors.

My 14 inch standard XGA screen T60 I got a few weeks back is a Samsung I've found out, it has no light leakage at all. The only sparkle it has is what looks like a very faint finger print shape, very very small, in fact as I type this I can't even find it. On white, sometime it annoys me, but in reference to Samsung screens this one so far has been great.

Truth be told, I'm just happy to have a computer, it looks like the T61 will be shipping next year at this rate (not really, don't stone me), I had canceled mine and gotten a T60 purely because I wanted a standard not widescreen.
