Here we go with the whole Lenovo mess, please someone tell me I am not alone:

    1. I ordered a T61 on 07/30 with original ESD on 08/30

    2. I called yesterday to see what's going on and got the usual 'whatever' part is missing...yesterday was the WUSB.

    3. This morning I login to my order status page and: not only they changed the ESD to 09/10 but also they modified the actual PRICE, now i have to pay over $270 more!

The configuration has slightly changed from 512 to 1Gig RAM, that's over $270 for 512Mb of additional RAM and at least 2 more weeks to wait for it!!!!

This is totally RIDICULOUS, never seen that with any other manufacturer.

    I have nothing to say....

Perhaps you should cancel the order and reorder it again...

    I know it's terrible.

If I order again, it will be delayed again.

now I have a principle that is not going down without a fight and I will make sure they hear what I have to say because it's totally insane - so many people disatisfied with Lenovo will leave serious stains for years.
The stellar reputation days of IBM are definetely over.

Unlike Dell which I am used to, Lenovo does not work 24/7 - so I am waiting for their call center to open and let them know what I think of their practices.

I actually will probably end up convincing my whole family and friends never to buy Lenovo if this is not fixed.

i wonder if changing the price is even legal
if you had ordered X system at Y$, then you're entitled to that system at that price
they should, imo, at least inform you that X system isn't available anymore (or whatever reason why they want to change your order) and ASK you what you want

    Just cancel your order.
