    Hi there.

My N100 is giving my serious issues. Out of the blue, the screen loses its clearness. It's hard to explain, but at times, it has sort of stretch-marks all over the screen. What I need to do then in order to fix this, is to slightly tap on the screen, and it goes back to normal.

This is who it started, but now it's worse. It get those stretch-marks very often, and I need to twist the screen (press on the left side of the screen while holding the right side at the same time, so Im creating pressure on the left side), and than - if Im lucky - it will go back to normal.

I have no doubt that this can be resolved, because the LCD itself is fine. That is, when its clear - it's perfect and normal. Perhaps - i dare say it - a wiring problem? A connector? I don't really know about those things, but I am willing to try anything before I go and buy a new screen (what a shame that will be - I'm a broke student).

    I will appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks
    Beny

Take it apart to see if the connections are good. It don't cost nothing.

    Thanks for the responses.

    Update:

I have dissembled the screen, and I couldn't find a spot (or a wire) on which I can say "yea, this is it", but I did take out the wire that is attached to the bottom portion of the screen (there, there is a rectangle unit, to which 2 wires are attached). I took out the right one (black cover) and - nothing changed. Than I took out the other one (two wires are attached to this on - one is blue and one is white) and the screen went blank, and I had to restart the computer (putting it back in didn't help). But - it kind'a WORKED OUT! There was no more stretching, and it seemed that I have solved the issue. I was very happy. BUT - now it's back again. But it's weird, because now it is far LESS sensitive than it was before. I can move it, touch it, and it doesn't go all crazy. But the problem is still there. Would you say I have discovered something here? Maybe that it IS the wire, or maybe I have actually discovered that it's the LCD that is the problem? thanks again (-P:

LOL @ double negatives. So, ZaZ, does that mean it does cost SOMETHING to see if the connections are good?
